Thick as Thieves by Megan Whalen Turner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I really hope this means there are more books in the series coming.
My only real complaint was that the big reveal was pretty obvious, but that didn't really take away from the book. It was nice to see Costis again- I didn't love him in The King of Attolia, but I did in this book, which was a nice surprise. I did miss the usual cast of characters, but not as much as I expected to.

Update Schedule
There was once an update schedule. It lived a good life, a peaceful life. A quiet life. But then... things began to change. It became more and more erratic, sometimes completely disobeying its very reason for existance. And at last, the update schedule could take no more. It cast off its chains and went free, seeking new lands where it would be appreciated. This message it left where once it had lived, to warn other schedules of the peril.

Review: Carrie
Carrie by Stephen King
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
It's okay. 'Salem's Lot is still my favorite so far. Out of the three Stephen King novels I've read (or tried to read), this one comes second.
I was not as impressed with the locker room scene as everyone else seems to be. It was a weird and creepy fantasy even without knowing a man was writing it.
